Student Status:

Each student must register for all courses.

Transcript Requests:

Students may request an official transcript from KCLI headquarters, by requesting through their administrator of the local campus. The "Transcript Request Form" must be signed by the student and submitted with a payment of $5.00 per request which will be sent to the national headquarters by the local campus administrator.  Generally these requests will be processed within 30 days.

Evaluation of Prior Learning:

Students who have completed courses in institutions other than KCLI or have ministerial experience may receive credit for their work. This requires the submission of official transcripts, certificates, diplomas, degrees and/or a ministerial resume to the Academic Committee at KCLI for evaluation. The credits awarded through transfer are used to help determine the level of placement of the student. This will give the student needed information as to the number of courses required for graduation. Students should request an initial evaluation at the time of admission. Initial requests for evaluations must be submitted within six months of enrollment. Subsequent requests should be submitted on the Subsequent Request for Evaluation of Transfer Credit Form.  These forms may be obtained by contacting the KCLI head office.

Students Records:

KCLI headquarters will maintain all official records for students. This will include but will not be limited to all applications for enrollment, course grades, transcripts, diploma applications, and all documents related to payment for courses. These records will be maintained for all students, whether they are taking course at KCLI campuses or through distance education.  Each KCLI campus will maintain sufficient records to determine the status of each student’s studies. This will include a copy of each grade received, the number of courses taken, the number of courses needed to complete a program of study, and any related financial records. In addition, the KCLI campus will maintain detailed attendance records for each student. The record will show hours attended, hours of excused absence, unexcused absence, tardiness and early departures.

Lectures:

KCLI's policy requires that all students hear all lectures to maximize their empowerment. If a student is unable to do so, arrangements can be made with the local Chancellor for exceptions.
